ProVia Windows with Built-In Screens – Easy and Breezy

Replacement windows with built-in screens are a great option for keeping your home comfortable. Window screens are typically constructed with an interwoven, netted mesh mounted to an aluminum or steel frame, and designed to be easily installed or removed from the window pocket.

Replacement windows from ProVia® come standard with BetterVue® fiberglass mesh screens. BetterVue is a tightly woven, durable, flame-retardant fiberglass mesh that keeps the bugs and dust out while providing an enhanced view and improved airflow. BetterVue features Water Shed Technology™, a hydrophobic coating that repels water and debris, preventing dirt and grime build-up in the mesh and preserving optical clarity.

If your home needs the added protection of a heavy-duty window screen, ProVia offers SeeVue® Stainless Steel Mesh. Ideal for patio door and porch window applications, SeeVue’s woven steel mesh and extruded aluminum frame combine to create a tough, durable, yet flexible screen. The black fine wire mesh is much stronger than a standard insect screen and offers enhanced visibility, superior airflow, and outstanding insect protection.

FlexScreen® is a PVC-coated spring steel frame that flexes for effortless installation and removal. No attachment hardware is needed – just bend the sides slightly and position it right into the window pocket for a perfect fit. The solid core frame is damage-resistant and flexes back into shape easily – it won’t twist, dent, or break. The mesh offers great visibility, allows daylight to filter in, and improves sight lines since the frame hides in the window pocket.

ProVia exterior laminated and painted Endure™ windows and Aeris™ wood-clad vinyl windows come standard with BetterVue mesh on a FlexScreen frame. FlexScreen is manufactured to fit any size Endure, Aeris, or Aspect double hung or slider window—if yours isn’t outfitted with one already, have your contractor measure for a precise size and work with a ProVia dealer to get a perfectly fitted screen.

FlexScreen is available with BetterVue® or with heavy duty fiberglass mesh, depending on your needs. Kitchen and living room windows outfitted with a FlexScreen with BetterVue mesh offer enhanced visibility, while heavy duty mesh provides tougher protection in your attic or basement windows. Whichever mesh you choose, you’ll still be able to easily install and remove the screen as needed.
