ProVia® Adds Thin Brick to Manufactured Stone Lineup

SUGARCREEK, Ohio, January 4, 2024 – ProVia has expanded their manufactured stone product offering with Thin Brick, a new profile available in four colors. Remodelers, builders, and architects can now offer customers the time-honored look and versatile design options of classic brick.

ProVia Thin Brick manufactured stone embodies the texture, characteristics, and appearance of authentic brickwork. The product is crafted using high-quality cement, shale aggregates and pigments, precisely blended and placed into handcrafted molds. The profile is less than an inch thick and incorporates the sharp corners and shadowy undercuts that are hallmarks of vintage brickwork. The color palette includes Boston, a baked rust and flashfired brown hue; Cobblestone, a blend of ashen white, pewter gray and sepia; Delaware, an alabaster white infused with cool gray tones; and Midnight, a smoky dark gray with a hint of inky blue.

Chance Shalosky, ProVia stone product manager, shares his enthusiasm for this new profile: “Our customers have been asking for a manufactured thin brick product, and we listened. ProVia Thin Brick is a true thin profile, approximately 15/16” deep, making it a versatile product for architectural exteriors and interior accents. It’s heat-resistant like a true firebrick and can be used as a fireplace surround. The profile weighs less than standard clay brick, so it reduces shipping costs and requires less structural wall strength. It’s easier to handle and position and can be installed by a stone mason.”

The new profile has been in production at the company’s Cherry Ridge facility and is readily available. Shalosky adds, “Like all of our manufactured stone, Thin Brick is efficiently manufactured, carefully packaged to prevent breakage, and ships in days, so our customers don’t have to endure long lead times or work delays.”
