New Simulated Divided Panels Bring Modern Elegance to Entry Door Design
SUGARCREEK, Ohio, May 3, 2022 – ProVia announces new Simulated Divided Panels for Signet Fiberglass Fir entry doors in selected styles. The 3” and 5” wide fiberglass grids provide dimension and distinction, boosting curb appeal dramatically and offering even more fiberglass door design options.
Simulated Divided Panels, or SDPs, are an offshoot of ProVia’s popular Simulated Divided Lites (SDLs), 1” fiberglass grids that mimic the look and feel of old-world wood craftsmanship. SDPs take the concept a step further, with wider 3” and 5” grids on 8’ tall or shorter Signet Fir doors, applied directly to the skin of a solid (001 style) door, or to the surface of a full lite of glass (460 style).Adding Character to Solid Panel and Full Glass Entrances
SDPs on the 460 style can incorporate clear or privacy glass. The privacy glass options allow for muted natural light to enter, while also providing a level of concealment and seclusion. Combined with ProVia’s ComforTech™ glass, the grids create a fashionable framework. Numerous geometric configurations and a diverse selection of paint, glaze or stain colors on SDPs allow homeowners to create an entry door design that is unique, sophisticated and on-trend – perfect for art deco, contemporary, or modern architectural styles.
The wider profiles of the Simulated Divided Panels on a solid Signet Fir 001 door provide dimension and texture. SDPs add visual interest by partitioning the solid door using horizontal, vertical, and X-shaped panels, embellishing a smooth and simple appearance with character and distinction. SDPs on a solid door are ideal for a craftsman, ranch, or modern farmhouse-style home.
Numerous Options for Customization
Simulated Divided Panels allow for versatility in fiberglass door design that gives homeowners the opportunity to express their individual style. Available in seven handsome stain colors, including Caramel, Ginger and Pecan, and seven striking glazed finishes as well, including Natural Leather and Rustic Sage. Solid color paint is another finish option, with an extensive lineup of Standard or Trending colors to choose from.
Ashley Ridenour, ProVia Door and Window marketing manager, explains: “As architectural trends like farmhouse style and mid-century modern continue their popularity, ProVia has added more contemporary style choices across the board. From paint colors to hardware and decorative glass, the customization options for ProVia’s Signet Fiberglass entry doors offer homeowners a multitude of ways to create a stunning entryway.”
